Details of the Car Import Service via Connect Plus

Registration and Verification

  • Create an online account through the official smartphone application: “Cars for Egyptians Abroad.”
  • Enter and verify your personal data according to the government’s requirements.

Selecting the Car & Calculating Fees

  • Choose the type of car (new or used) and specify the model.
  • Use the built-in customs calculator in the app to estimate the required fees and taxes based on your car details.

Financial Transfer

  • Transfer the required amount in foreign currency to the official bank account designated by the Egyptian Ministry of Finance within the specified registration period.
  • Upload proof of payment through the app.

Import Approval Issuance

  • Once the payment is received and verified, the Ministry of Finance will issue an import approval that allows you to legally import your car into Egypt.

Customs Clearance & Delivery

  • Coordinate with customs authorities to complete the clearance process.
